Richmond, Virginia is the site of Patrick Henry's famous 'Give me liberty, or give me death' speech.  Specifically at Virginia's Convention on March 23, 1775 in Saint John's Church.  A re-enactment surrounding this event is given by actors in character and costume of the time.  Visitors to this event actually sit with the likes of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Patrick Henry as they contemplate the ramifications of a break with Great Britain.
